Here the design of new offices Upperkut communications firm located in Montreal , Canada. Everything will be published this summer in the book INside Office publisher ArtPower International based in Hong Kong. Produced under the supervision of Jean Lessard designer have transformed these rental spaces located in a church in the heart of the artistic and creative Plateau Mont -Royal . Despite the enormous constraints in terms of circulation spaces, structure and direction from the City of Montreal, Jean de Lessard were able to meet the customer’s initial order .
To meet the multiple needs of the customer, Jean de Lessard have divided the various departments for the company, which you see above part of development plans , to enable interactive synergy between the members of a team. The whole in order to work around a central core allowing for chance encounters and constructive sharing of knowledge. Having worked with the client’s existing furniture system , our goal was to reduce the loss of spaces as well as purchases of furniture .
Regarding the common corridor , Jean de Lessard developed a simple wooden box used to camouflage shell mechanics and electricity flows on the facades of the walls. Jean de Lessard dynamisons places with the help of signs on painted steel , separating departments of the firm . course with a nod to the President of the firm .
