Queen Astrid Park Residence

A Good Class Bungalow Design

by Aamer Architects

This massive 4 level bungalow designed by Aamer Architects features some of the most fascinating aspects of tropical architecture. The various living spaces are seamlessly woven together by internal walkways that cuts between courtyards and water features. The large windows which are framed with a timber finished elevational treatment, is both well thought through and functional.

Living Room

Sitting on a piece of elevated land, this bungalow hugs the landscape starting with a steep slope stretching from the back to the front. Within this mass, there are 4 volumes of intimate living spaces connected by a bridge made of dark wood and louvered windows.

Evening view

One of the best moments in this residence is during twilight. The house is transformed from a solid edifice into a huge magical lantern.
